It is a warm summer evening in July, 2020 when me and my mate Thijs are on assignment for the local paper. We are making a documentary series of people that embody that 'summer feeling' and that has brought us to a lovely lady selling dried flowers. After a short interview, to learn about how she's on a mission to bring the qualities of summer into people's homes, it's time for me to take her portrait.

While taking her portrait, I notice how beautiful the flowers in her hands look, so I point the vintage 135mm lens I was using at them to grab some gorgeous close up photos. The colors, textures and warm evening light all come together in a satisfying harmony.

Editioning

This print comes in two editions - open and limited. Each edition has three sizes and is printed at a lab, signed and shipped to your home. The limited edition is limited to 10 prints per size, making it more valuable. The open edition, on the other hand, is available indefinitely and is slightly cheaper due to the unlimited number of prints that can be made.

Shipping

Prints are made to order, so please allow 1 to 2 weeks for your print to arrive. Limited edition prints might take a little longer, as they have to go through my hands first, whereas open edition prints will generally be at your doorstep quicker. Shipping cost varies per location but I've tried my best to keep shipping costs as low as possible, no matter where you are located in the world.
