NO. 6/8 OF MY FAVORITE IMAGES FROM 2020

At the end of 2020, I wasn't quite sure where to take my photography. Pairing this with an ever growing wanderlust in a locked down world, I found myself wandering a lot. During those wanderings I was drawn to the beach a lot, for reasons still unclear to me. Perhaps I just like the sense of space the ocean provides. An open area to open up my clouded mind, I guess. Anyway, putting myself out there with my camera is always a good idea.

There's an image from my personal journal in the image gallery, to provide some background to my thinking at that time. Don't mind the handwriting, I'm better at typing these days. Plus this was technically meant to be private anyway. I hint at making a photo project out of it but it never quite got to that stage.

About the paper

Hahnemühle has been making papers since 1584 and is known for its high quality standard. Photo Rag is a 308 g/m² white cotton paper with a soft feel and lightly textured matte surface, giving prints rich colour, deep blacks and fine detail. It is acid- and lignin-free and highly resistant to ageing. Specifications: 92.5% whiteness, Dmax 1.82, matte gloss level, lightly textured surface, optical brighteners, and 100% cotton composition.

Shipping and fulfilment

Prints are made to order, so please allow approximately one to two weeks for production and delivery. Limited-edition prints may take slightly longer because they are signed before shipping. Shipping costs vary by destination and are kept as low as practical worldwide.
