After my One Two One photography project ignited my passion for black and white photography, I was captivated by the beauty and drama of black and white street photography. I decided to embark on a journey of discovery and explore cities that I had never seen before. At least not properly, with my camera. I looked for hidden textures, interesting shapes, and other abstract wonders in everyday life.

Utrecht Central Station flows over seamlessly into shopping centre Hoog Catharijne, which has recently been renovated entirely. What was once an uninspired dump, is now an intriguing visual playground. This all-glass dome sits at the center of it and deserved to be captured. That the bird decided to show up at just the right time was an added bonus.

About the paper

Hahnemühle has been making papers since 1584 and is known for its high quality standard. Photo Rag is a 308 g/m² white cotton paper with a soft feel and lightly textured matte surface, giving prints rich colour, deep blacks and fine detail. It is acid- and lignin-free and highly resistant to ageing. Specifications: 92.5% whiteness, Dmax 1.82, matte gloss level, lightly textured surface, optical brighteners, and 100% cotton composition.

Shipping and fulfilment

Prints are made to order, so please allow approximately one to two weeks for production and delivery. Limited-edition prints may take slightly longer because they are signed before shipping. Shipping costs vary by destination and are kept as low as practical worldwide.
