While wandering around Amsterdam Zuidas, finding my way through the countless construction areas, my goal was to photograph interesting shapes and abstract scenes. The impressive architecture around the area was certainly of great help. A dreary office building can become a piece of art if the variables align in just the right way. As luck would have it, a little bit or rain started falling the moment I pointed my camera upwards towards the top of this building. I snapped quickly, before the front element of my lens became to wet, and ended up with a dramatic representation of modern day office life in Amsterdam.

About the paper

Hahnemühle has been making papers since 1584 and is known for its high quality standard. Photo Rag is a 308 g/m² white cotton paper with a soft feel and lightly textured matte surface, giving prints rich colour, deep blacks and fine detail. It is acid- and lignin-free and highly resistant to ageing. Specifications: 92.5% whiteness, Dmax 1.82, matte gloss level, lightly textured surface, optical brighteners, and 100% cotton composition.

Shipping and fulfilment

Prints are made to order, so please allow approximately one to two weeks for production and delivery. Limited-edition prints may take slightly longer because they are signed before shipping. Shipping costs vary by destination and are kept as low as practical worldwide.
