NO. 3/8 OF MY FAVORITE IMAGES FROM 2020

In July, 2020, I and my mate Thijs are working on a documentary series for the local paper. We are looking for people who embody that summer feeling in their daily lives. We meet a lovely woman who sells dried flowers to spread the summer spirit with her floral art. I want to take her portrait for our series.

After a quick interview and taking her portrait, I notice how pretty the flowers in her hands are and their amazing colors and textures. I use my vintage 135mm lens and take some close up photos of the flowers. The warm light of the evening makes the scene look enchanting.
